What does 25% of the savings achieved over the dealer's given price mean?

Example: If our team calls a dealer and the MSRP of the vehicle is $40,000, but there are additional add-ons of $2500, the dealer's given price is $42,500. If add-ons were removed and a $2500 discount on MSRP was given, that would mean you save $5000. If you proceed with the purchase, CarSage would then bill you $1250. Factoring in a starting fee of $250, this would mean that you saved $3500 overall, an effective savings rate of 8.25%, all without having to step foot in the dealer.
